Amazing fit and not expensive

I have a round behind and a small waist, while they may not be fashionable these days, look fabulous in a pair of properly fitting jeans. These Levi's Curvy Fit Boot Cut 529 (mid rise) fit me perfectly and make my thighs and butt look sexy. They are also comfortable. And there is icing on the cake: they aren't expensive either. The photo of the light color denim is not flattering here on Amazon. See the darker two colors: those pictures show the shape of the pants much better.

My favorite pair of jeans!

As with most women I have a terrible time finding jeans that fit AND look great and these do both. I am as some would say, a pear shaped gal of an average weight and so finding jeans that are full enough in the hip and thigh is near to impossible in this age of "the skinney jean" unless you go for a boxy fit, these jeans hug my curves without being tight or cliny anywhere. Also I have short legs and usually have to shop in petits for pants but these fit great with enough length that I can wear them with a slight heel or rolled up with my boots. Love, love, love these jeans! I have them in the darker blue rinse (blue wave?) and they look very modern and up to date, not your mom's jeans.

Women With High Butts, Beware!

I was so excited by the reviews of these jeans. I really looked forward to their arrival. When they came, the color was beautiful and I ran to the bathroom to try them on. Arrrrrgh. As usual, as an African American woman with a high butt, these jeans are not made for me. I know I wear a 10. At least, that's what the jeans currently in my closet say they are. Yet these, in a 10, were hard to even pull over my thighs! Once the dust settled and the struggle was over, I was left with the top of my behind still uncovered and whatdayaknow, I couldnt get the waistband to even button. Perhaps because my BUTT was still stuck in it! lol Anyway, if you are just your everyday curvy European American woman, or, if you have a low butt, then you will probably love these, but for we sistahs with the true homeland booty, fahgettaboutit!

Fabulous Jeans

Buying pants always made me CRY! Literally, I would be bawling in the fitting rooms trying to find pants that fit me. That is until I found these jeans. I have a small waist and a fluffy tush and hips (kids killed my size 4 figure years ago...haha). So I always had the giant pocket in the back that I could have carried my wallet (and maybe a book) in. Man, I love these jeans, because FINALLY the pocket is GONE! GONE! GONE! Hallelujah!

To those who keep complaining that they are too long, there is a simple fix for this: SEAMSTRESS. I am 5'4, so ALL pants run a little long on me. My simple fix for years has been to just have them hemmed. If you are handy enough, you can even do it yourself. I have lived alot of places, and I have never seen a seamstress charge more than $7 to do it.

I was skeptical when I first read the reviews. Jeans that fit your curves and fit in the waist too? I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on. They run true to size and make me look curvy without looking fat. My husband loves the way they hug my rear end. They are not too tight and are very comfortable.

These are Levi's?

These Levi's were not at all what I remember or expected. The fabric is quite elastic and is rough and scratchy from raised white threads that give a striped appearance. It irritated my skin enough that I returned them.

On the positive side, shipping from Amazon was prompt, the items were packed well, and there were no problems with the return - as yet. I still find shopping with Amazon the most convenient way to go even if some of the products turn out to be duds.

These jeans are very comfortable right out of the package. The fit is great and I like the boot cut much better than the straight leg. I'm "hippier", so the relaxed fit was perfect. My only complaint is the stretch denim. In the women's Levi's, I couldn't find any that didn't come without the stretch denim.

The fit from this pair of Levi's is exactly what you would expect from a great pair of jeans. It's usually hard to order jeans online. But this is a great fitting, tru-to-size pair of jeans. I would definitely recommend them and will be purchasing another pair!

My oldest daughter is very active and fit, other 3...well size 2x and up so they get sweat pants and a tee for Christmas. Mt eldest loved these and will buy the light blue next year.

Not Good Quality

After reading the other reviews and having owned a couple of American Apparel products I was excited to purchase the yoga pants. I also appreciated that these are much less expensive than my usual yoga pants (Moda from Victoria's Secret, which are twice the cost and worth every penny). Here are my issues with these yoga pants:
* Cut - more of a legging than a yoga pant (which should be a straighter, flared cut).
* Material - much thinner than what other reviewers indicate, again more of a legging material than that of the typical yoga pant. In addition, the material stretches very easily and does not retain shape (creating the saggy bottom syndrome - not sexy).
* Length - many other reviewers indicated that the pants arrived too short, I had the opposite problem as these pants were cut for that of a supermodel and were about 5 inches too long.
My recommendation is to go for quality and somthing that will last instead of value. I adore the Victoria's Secret yoga pants, they last for years, are incredible sexy, and very well made.

Not true to Size...SMALL

These jeans are cut at least two sizes smaller than other Levi's 512 jeans in the same size I have purchased. I own several pair of blue denim 512's in size 12 tall that fit perfectly. I could barely get these on, let alone zip them!

Indigo Perfect Fit!

I ordered these jeans because I can't ever find them in the stores. I ordered them in Indigo and they fit perfectly, a bit longer than my other 512's that I have bought at the store. After buying them, washing them and wearing them, I decided I wanted to get a pair in black. After reading many reviews, it sounded like the black ran large, so on the advice of other reviewers, I ordered them a size smaller than I would normally wear. In my case, they did not run large and unfortunately, they are too small and I am returning them. I noticed that I cannot exchange them, I can only get a refund, maybe due to availabilty?? Anyway, love the Indigo, probably should have ordered the black in my normal size and they would've been just fine!

Inconsistent sizing

I have to wear black pants to work and found the 512 jean to be the best all around for fit and durability. However, after ordering more than 8 pairs from Macy's....all of them size 8 longs, the last two I received were at least 2 inches narrower in the waist and much tighter in the legs. I have not gained any weight....in fact, I have lost 5 pounds since the previous order. There is no way I can wear these jeans. I contacted Amazon/Macy's about the problem and still have not been credited or sent a return item label. Needless to say, I won't be ordering through Amazon/Macy's anymore.

Not all Levis are the same

I'm a hard size to fit, so when I get something, I want it in all colors. Unfortunately, after a lot of money spent, I've discovered that what country the Levis were made in makes a big difference in the length, shrinkage, etc. So if you find a pair from Pakistan that fits beautifully, stay with that country, not just the number.

Nice jeans for the money

I love the way these jeans look on me. They fit like a glove without pinching in anywhere.
There is enough spandex to make any problem areas disappear.

I got a size larger since my usual size fit a bit too snug. They did shrink some in the dryer. But now fit perfectly.

Perfect for the budget conscious bridesmaid

I looked high and low for a burnt orange bridesmaid dress with very little success unless I wanted to spend a small fortune. I stumbled upon this lovely dress in pumpkin and both I and the bride found it to be the perfect color and a great simple style. It arrived quickly and painlessly. I took the advice of the other reviewers and completely ignored their size chart. I'm normally a size small top, so that's what I ordered, though my actual measurements are a bit larger than the size small on the chart. The dress fits great and stays up because of the boning. I've seen many of the designer dresses in person and most really aren't made any better or of better materials than this one. It's an amazing value for your money. The only thing that would improve this dress is a lining, though that would drive up the cost. I would highly recommend this dress for bridesmaids. So cute and easy on the wallet, plus it comes in a ton of great colors.

Great dress at a great price

I purchased this dress in white for my civil ceremony wedding in December - it arrived quickly, within a week of purchase. I ordered according to my measurements and it only needed a small adjustment for the bust, which was expected and and inexpensive. It is very well constructed and now that I am having a formal and religious ceremony I will have my bridesmaids order this same dress from PacificPlex.

Got what I paid for.

The color of this dress was spot on, baby pink, perfect. The dress itself though, just okay. It was somewhat thin in fabric. The boning in the dress was flimsy. I had to rip out the straps for hanging because they were sewn in at a weird angle and I couldn't hide them while wearing it. The length of the dress was just right also. The sizing I was nervous about when I bought it. SML just doesn't work for this item. Unfortunately I ordered an x-large and it was about 1-1 1/2 sizes too big. If there were a better sizing chart or numbers, that would help greatly! The shipping was very quick though. It left about 3 days after I ordered it and arrived (overseas) about 2 weeks later. For the price, it was good enough. Properly tailored this would be a very lovely dress.
